The Chamber Choir is an auditioned group of 8th grade singers. The Chamber Choir sings for concerts and at special events throughout the year. To sing in Chamber Choir, students must participate in a music program at SMS and be selected through an audition. 

• Fee: $65 to SMS
• Meeting Times: Meets daily throughout the school year during Pony Time. Also meets at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesdays in the choir room, W178.
• To Join: Students audition for Chamber Choir in the spring of their Grade 7 year with the choir director. 

The "Duke" Jazz Ensemble is open to any SMS music student and requires an audition by students.  The instrumentation of this ensemble closely follows the traditional instrumentation of a jazz ensemble.
